Gabrielle Moves to New Zealand and Australia
Later, in New Zealand, Gabrielle worked in film, TV, radio and performed her songs professionally throughout the country. During this time, EMI released her solo single “Take Me With You”. Gabrielle visited Sydney and fell in love with the land and an Australian man. Their children became little fairies while mum and dad featured as the “The Shootingstar Fairies” on Channel 7′s prime time Saturday morning “Hi Hello Show” and at numerous festivals throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
Gabrielle Arrives on the Sunshine Coast
After they moved to the Sunshine Coast, the duo expanded into “Pirate Pete and the Buccaneers” replete with Charlie, the brilliant white sulphur-crested cockatoo which performed regularly at festivals and gigs throughout South East Queensland. Over the years, the colourful band including Salty Syl, Robbie the Rogue, Mark Finter, Mark Gillett and Laurie the Legend played at concerts and venues whilst collaborating on CDs of pirate tunes and stories.
Gabrielle is available for festival, party, school or corporate bookings as a fairy, pirate or pied piper, offering adult and children’s entertainment packages with options for story-telling, face/body art, music and games, or as a solo roving performer for functions and events.
